Atheists Know The Bible

 It’s interesting that many atheists know the Bible better than most Christians. Atheists dig deep into the Word, whereas many Christians settle for the surface teaching. I think a lot of Christians settle for surface teaching because they’re scared of the loopholes they may find if they dig deep into the Bible. 

Relationships: Power Dynamic

Is there such thing as a 50/50 relationship? I say no...

The power dynamic is never equal, nor should it be. Someone has to take the lead. If not, the relationship will be without direction which is why most relationships fail.

Note: I’ve never been cool with this 50/50 thing. I prefer 100/100, where both give their all to make the relationship work.

"There's a problem with the way we teach Christianity these days. Instead of letting our lights shine, we are taught to shut up and not say anything - to be quiet and not offend anyone. We are called to be the light in the world. When our light is turned off it's victory for darkness, it's a victory for ignorance.

Christians have a duty to be heard. Our primary purpose is not just to be seen by the world, but also to be heard. We cannot live in the shadows of this world. And so we're done being silent. We are called to be a voice for those who cannot speak, to be a light to those living in darkness. We are not meant to sit idly by while the world is burning around us and go on as though nothing is wrong. There are many in this world who are afraid to speak up. We must not be afraid to stand up for what is right.

Let's turn up the volume and start standing up to be heard out together."

This discussion is calling out Christians for staying silent in the face of sin. The world can push their agenda, but God's people can't push theirs? Makes no sense, but a new day is coming (or has arrived) where Christians are roaring loud; they're tired of the enemy having his way in society. Based on what I've seen; Christianity has been watered down since the 2000s. Old-school minister RW Schambach said it best: The world has become like the church, and the church like the world. You can’t tell them apart. When some believers don’t speak out against sin, they’re supporting it. Too many Christians wanna go along to get along. Some Christians need to make a decision: Stand for Christ & be hated, or co-sign the world & be popular.

Sunday Chronicles

Some women need to stop trying to make men emotional like they are; we’re not & never will be. It takes a lot for a man to show emotion, and when he does…it’s real.

To each their own, but…I can’t have a woman cooking for me. Number one, I’m not built like that & 2: I enjoy taking time to make something myself. Some folks use what they did & do for you against you as soon as y’all fall out.

As I get older, more things become irrelevant to me.

Successful people have no reason to be mad if they feel used. It’s their fault for letting any & everybody in their circle. 

Independent Party

 

For me, it's easy to see why many people are flipping to independent. The Republicans & Democrats are full of crap. It's funny to see supporters of either party bashing each other, as if their party is the best. If the Democrat party is so great, WHY did they start the KKK? I'll wait. Republicans are no better because they've been vocal opponents of student debt relief, and many of them are launching legal challenges to prevent it. Mitch McConnell (Republican) is the most infamous republican because he's been known to block any relief designed to help regular American, but this is the same guy who supports giving tax breaks to the rich. I've been a Democrat for so long until I made a decision to go Independent, because I can no longer support what God's against. Think about it, the Democrats are pushing an ungodly agenda and I won't support that. The Independent party may not be popular, but at least they stand alone.

From the Devil's Playbook: Kanye West and Candance Owens | 2 Strong

I've said this before & I'll repeat: Kanye West lost the ONE person who kept him on track, his mother. If Kanye's mother was alive, I'm sure she wouldn't let him carry on with his foolishness. In my opinion, he's doing too much. It sounds like Kanye's not allowing himself to grieve his mother's death because since his mom died, he's been on 10 nonstop. I guess staying busy is how Kanye deals with his mom's death, I don't know. If Kanye has a circle, they're letting him look crazy because they're not pulling him aside and telling him to fall back with the foolery.

Candace Owens is double-minded, which is why I can't take anything she says seriously. First, she criticizes the black community for its perversity, then praises the Super Bowl halftime performance. She needs to pick a side: Support the black community (good or bad) or not. You have people who praise CO for being well-spoken & intelligent. A fool can be intelligent & well-spoken at times. I would respect Candace Owens more if she stuck to a position. If you're hypocritical, be that. If you're going to criticize the black community for glorifying destruction, be consistent. Candace has so many people fooled (not me, because I see through her).

Eating Alone

This is a word. Everyone is not supposed to eat at your table. Did they help prepare the meal? No, so why do some people let others eat at their table? Because some people need company, even if the company is bad. I was never this way because I'm content with(out) company. I can eat alone & think nothing of it. The parable: Some successful people allow the wrong people access to their table, and wonder why they feel taken advantage of. Everyone comes with you, can't go with you. As you elevate, your circle drops because some people aren't willing to do the work to go up with you, so they come dead weight. If you're that loyal, I salute you. I'm loyal to a fault, but I'm too old to let people eat at my table who didn't help prepare the meal. If that makes me selfish, I'll be that. If you feel used, it's not the person's fault for using you, it's your fault for allowing them. If you have to, eat alone. It's better for your peace.
