1 dead, 8 injured (some victims in serious condition) yesterday during FAMU’s homecoming. The fallen victim’s family was a classmate at my old high school. I didn’t know him personally, but a lot of my classmates did and they say he was a good dude. The murdered young man’s family has to bury their loved one. I hurt for the victim’s family because they lost their son, cousin, nephew, uncle, etc. too soon. I know violence doesn’t discriminate; the same violence that happens at HBCU homecomings also takes place at other schools, but it seems like HBCU’s are in the spotlight every time something bad happens. What is it, do people wait to cut up at HBCU homecomings? It seems like it.
In light of the violence that took place during Homecoming weekend, maybe Homecoming should be canceled since clowns want to act a fool. It’s pitiful that folks can’t have fun without gunfire.🤦🏾 I’m sick of these 🤡 not knowing how to act around FAMU Homecoming. Every time, there’s a shooting/murder.🤦♂️Who raised these fools?
