Well...maybe Susan Rice was right that Snoop would lose if he didn't fall back. Snoop apologized to Gayle King for calling her out of her name, but his point still stands; Gayle shouldn't have brought up Kobe's sexual assault case when he's not here to defend himself. Oprah or Susan Rice must have called Snoop's mother, and that's what led to the apology. Snoop himself said he was raised better than that, so I respect him for manning up and issuing the apology for the harsh reaction, but he was right on everything else he said. Although it's no excuse, everyone has said foul stuff in rough times and even though an apology may be issued, that doesn't erase what happened. In my view, Snoop had no reason to apologize, but he had a lot to lose if he didn't: He would've lost his cooking show with Martha Stewart & other endorsements because companies don't want to deal with people that will be a liability. When you have the platform Snoop has, you have to move like you have a lot to lose, because you do. It takes one wrong move, and you could be done.
