Let It Go? Negative

Someone may be able to recover from their hurt, but their loved ones may not let that offense go unpunished. Let me give an example: 1. A loved one was murdered and once the family gets wind of their fallen loved one, revenge is on their mind. They're not thinking about contacting authorities, they're seeing red because they want payback for their murdered loved one. The family has every right to take revenge on behalf of their murdered loved one. (S)he didn't ask to leave this world prematurely, but they were violently killed for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. The family spends days & weeks looking for the murderer until one day, they catch him and give him that shotgun work.
One shot to the head and chest is all it takes and the murderer has been taken out. The family got their revenge and can sleep a little better knowing their loved one did not die in vain. Just because you've forgiven someone for hurting you, that doesn't mean your family members will. Sometimes, your loved ones are so bent on revenge that even if you tell them not to take action, they'll still exact justice. They're looking out for you, and they hate to see you hurting so in their minds, they're justified in paying the offender(s) a visit. I pray I'm never faced with a situation where I have to seek revenge, but if I am..well, the offense would have to be very grave. There are some offenses you cannot let go.
