Know Your Circle

When a child is coming up in life, their circle is wide. This is because they are learning social skills to help them how to co-exist with others. Depending on compatibility, the child could make a lot of friends or a select few. All of our circle was wide at one point, but over time the circle got smaller because some people left your life on their own, or you had to x them out because they weren't going where you're going. That's ok; not everyone is meant to remain in your circle. If your circle has been wide for quite sometime, you need to check those in your circle. Are they along for the ride or are they with you because they sincerely want the best for you? That's the toughest part about having a wide circle. At least if you keep your circle small, you won't be left guessing who's for and against you. Those who aren't for you, you can kick them out of your boat, and let them sink or swim. The above picture says it all because you never know who's poking holes in your boat, so it's important you know your circle. Not everybody is for you, and the sooner you learn this, the better off you'll be. Here's a foolproof way to know who's got you: Get In A Bind (out of your control), and see how much of your circle will come through on your behalf. It's a given if you let too many people in your circle, it will not end well. Some people are chameleons: They adapt to your personality so it's hard to recognize the wolves in sheep's clothing. When you least expect it, they drill holes in your boat, and when you start sinking you wonder what went wrong. I'll tell you what went wrong: You didn't know your circle. You let everybody in without discerning who's a blessing or curse. You should treat your circle like VIP: Only the privileged are allowed unlimited access into your circle. Outsiders, stay away.
