How To Handle Trauma

 

Where do people get off telling someone how to handle trauma, especially if they caused it? If you're the cause of someone's trauma, you don't dictate to the victim(s) how to handle their pain. Tormentors should worry about retribution from the victims' loved ones.

The fastest way for a black person to be ridiculed by his own so-called "brothers and sisters" is to advocate accountability. Blacks are quick to say what the white man has done, but what about what we do/did to each other? We’re not ready for this conversation. 

Appointed Time For Blessing

Everyone has an appointed season for blessing. Just because someone gets blessed sooner doesn't mean your time isn't coming. 

Thanking God For The Good & Bad

Note: It’s difficult for me to thank God for the bad days, especially since they seem everlasting.🤷🏾‍♂️

Remember to thank God for the bad days as well as the great days. Don’t immediately forget about the good days when things go wrong. He has a reason why you’re going through a hard season in your life. Trust His will. Remember, there’s your plan and there’s His.
