Churches Here, There & Everywhere

No matter where you go, you're guaranteed to find multiple churches in every city, many of which are on the same street. I want everyone to do me a favor: When you get some time, ride down your city's main thoroughfare and tell me how many churches you see. I bet there will be 3 churches lining the main blvd. Why is that? Because preachers don't want to work together. I understand that each minister has their own style, and I get that. At the core, all ministers are doing the same work of trying to lead people to Christ. Because people have different preferences, that could explain why there's multiple churches on the same block or street. Each one feeds believers in a different way. I'm going to keep it real, and some folks may be upset: Some believers will NEVER be satisfied even if they've found the so-called "perfect church". The praise and worship & preaching can be on point, and some believers will still have issue, so gossip spreads, and before you know it, 2/3 of the congregation leaves with the believer.
Don't get me started on some of these ministers: Y'all know the ones that say: God called me to start this and that church, knowing good & well that God doesn't operate in confusion. Be real, some ministers want the fame & fortune that comes with ministry, and some believers follow up behind them. Why? They've got their eyes on man, and not God. A big split happened in my local church where my previous pastor couldn't handle accountability, so he resigned and 2/3 of the congregation went with him. Currently, we have a new minister and I like this couple. They're not about fame & fortune, but they have a genuine concern for souls. I chat with them frequently, and you can sense the warmth from them. I understand starting your own ministry if God has laid it on your heart to do so, but some pastors have hidden agendas for wanting to start their own ministry, mostly fame & fortune. If they're honest with themselves and others, they'll probably admit it too. Everywhere I've been, I see the same thing: Multiple churches on the same block, and I ask myself: How many of those churches are making a difference in the neighborhood(s) they're placed? Hmmmm.....Make it so bad, you see this in mostly black neighborhoods: Multiple churches on the same block all because some black ministers can't seem to work together, even though all are working toward the same goal: Bringing souls to Christ.

Cynthia Is NOT A Mean Girl

According to Nene Leakes of Atlanta Housewives, Cynthia Bailey has been labeled as the Mean Girl. First off, Cynthia Bailey is by no means a mean girl. Next to Kenya, Cynthia Bailey is a very sweet person. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body. People have walked over Cynthia for the past few seasons, and because Cynthia decided to stand up for herself, folks want to call Cynthia mean. How dare Cynthia Bailey stand up for herself *Sarcasm* That's how most people are, they want to continue using you as a doormat & you have to take their crap. When Cynthia was hush mouth, it was all good. Now that Cynthia's found her voice, it's a problem. Cynthia 2.0 is not to be played with, and she got her enemies together: Phaedra, Nene & Porsha. I bet they won't try her no more that's for sure. Serious question: How much crap did Nene, Porsha and Phaedra expect Cynthia to take from them? All of them have thrown so much shade towards Cynthia that she just got tired of their mess, and she had to clap back. The past two Atlanta Housewives reunions, Cynthia came for war and she held her own. A person can only take so much that they're left with no other choice but to put you in place, and dare you to move. I like the new Cynthia 2.0: More outspoken, sharp tongue, but still sweet & respectful. Cynthia used to bend over backwards to remain in Nene's good graces, but now she could care less. In so many words, she doesn't care about being Nene's friend or friends with any of the other women outside of Claudia and Kenya. If Cynthia is a "Mean Girl" because she won't let some people talk over her or bully her, then she needs to wear Mean Girl with pride.

Men In Touch With Their Feminine Side

The following topic was posted by me in The Lions Den, a Facebook group I'm in. Here's the discussion:

I'm gonna be 💯 when I say this: Women DO NOT want a man that's in touch with his feminine side. What I mean is that she doesn't want a man that's secure with his manhood to shed tears when appropriate. Why would she? A woman looks to her man for guidance & strength, and if he breaks down, what does that mean for her & the family? Some of you ladies need to stop faking the funk saying you love a man more when he can be vulnerable with you; when he's able to break down and show emotion and you not think less of him. ‪#‎StopIt‬

Stuart Taranto Meh, I'm no crybaby but I get tears when a real human should.

Stuart Taranto I believe that men who are not moved to tears are not in touch with real emotion. There are songs and movies that will get me every time. I don't weep like a baby, but, hand me the Kleenex if Wall-E is on.

Tisa Mccoy Great point. I need a strong and secure man to hold me and comfort me in MY time of hurt. However, I know men have different outlets to their pain. I'm willing to be his comforter and his backbone in his time of need as well. But his doesn't need to be nearly as often or as dramatic as mine!!!! Lol

Richard Hudson Something has to really...really touch me to my core for me to shed a tear. Otherwise, showing emotion is pointless in many ways.

Tom Coffey No that not true Richard Hudson it's about good mental health, and once people understand this, maybe the BLACK MAN won't die early from stress and pent up anger, just saying

Paulette Singleton I definitely want a man who is in touch with his feminine side because he need to know that side to understand me as a woman and treat me as the woman I am. I love manly men but he gotta have that balance. Balance is very important

Richard Hudson A man can treat his woman like a queen, and still be manly; that's what most women don't understand. Too many women complain about men not being man enough, but when they get one, they want him to be in touch with his feminine side. Where do they do that at? Only In 2015.

Paulette Singleton Again like I said it's all about balance and unfortunately most of society lack balance. An argumentative man is overly feminine and no woman shouldn't want a man like that

Richard Hudson She shouldn't want a man like that. Fight battles that matter.

Paulette Singleton Right I meant to say she shouldn't

I Quit

It's funny how couples want to bring up God when they're on the brink of divorce, because one person is tired of the mistreatment. How much is someone expected to tolerate from someone who claims to love and honor them? Seriously, I see why some people shy away from marriage because it seems like you have more headaches in marriage than being single. I've said it once, and I'll say it again: If it costs my happiness to keep a woman happy, I want no part of marriage. Forget about the man's wants & needs, it's all about the woman. Keep her satisfied, please her, do this, that & the third. A person can only take so much mistreatment from their spouse until they decide to leave. Once a person is done, they're done. No amount of prayer can change someone who has taken all they can from you, and you want to bring up God to manipulate them into staying so you can mistreat them again. That may work on some people, but that gets nowhere with me. It's nothing to cut someone off. If I'm good to a woman & did my best to please her, then it's her problem if what I do is not good enough. I listen to New Life podcasts that deal with marriage, and I swear some of those women are delusional. Some of their husbands go upside their heads, and they stay with the abusers. Let some of these women tell it: God wants me to stay with my husband even if he goes upside my head. Yeah...ok. If they like it, I love it. I'll opt for peace of mind.

Fame & Fortune vs. Dignity

Everyone's looking for fame & fortune, but at what price? Depends on who you ask. Some people want fame & fortune without having to compromise their dignity, others will get rich & famous by any means necessary, even if they look crazy in the long run. Some people need to understand that all fame & fortune isn't good, especially if it comes at the expense of your dignity. It comes down to security; being content with your success that you don't envy others who are more successful than you. The problem I see what many people is they aren't content. Some people want to be the center of attention so bad they'll go to any lengths to get it. Those types are most dangerous because they oftentimes sacrifice their dignity for fame and fortune. If they're willing to sacrifice fame & fortune, there's no telling what they'll do. I always say I'm cut from a different cloth than most, because the way my values are set up, I'd rather sleep good knowing that I lived right, even if I never become rich & famous. Besides, I'm used to having much and I'm used to having little, so either way I'm straight. Look at these so-called reality shows: People showing their behinds like the mess isn't wrong; acting all kinds of crazy, and some folks enjoy it. The thing is, many reality show stars make $1,000,000+ per episode, and they get free trips to exotic places. What's the common denominator? Drama. Cut up on national TV & you're a star. I would rather keep my dignity with no fame & fortune, than get rich and famous and have to maintain a facade.

Ferguson, MO Pt. 2: Baltimore Uprising

Just like Ferguson, the same thing happened in Baltimore: White cop takes out black man, and blacks tear up their own neighborhoods, then want to bellyache about businesses not wanting to set up shop in black areas in major cities. I wouldn't set up shop in a black neighborhood either because of crime risk. Most importantly, if any civil unrest broke out, my business would run the risk of being scorched & looted. Nobody has time for that. It's easier to tear up your own neighborhood, then raise hell where it truly matters: City Hall, police station, or....wait for it...riot in white neighborhoods. Oh wait, most blacks are scared to wreak havoc in white areas because those white folks wouldn't go for that. They know that whites can and will shut it down if it came down to that. Before some folks get in their feelings: Yes, there is racial injustice. Yes, if Baltimore PD was found guilty of killing that black guy, they'll have to deal with that at Judgment Day. You can unfriend me, but I'm keeping it real. Feel how you want to feel; It is what it is.

RHOA Reunion Commentary

Before I show the audio commentary of Sunday's RHOA reunion, let me say that Andy is very messy. He shades anyone that isn't pro-Nene. I like all the housewives because they each bring something to the show. Listen to this RHOA review/commentary.
