Monday Gospel: Why Did You Leave?

It's easier to criticize someone's decision to leave church than find out why. Even if someone told you, would you respect their decision or try to guilt trip them into coming back by coming up with these cliches: Church is for imperfect people, Hebrews 10:25 "Don't stop meeting together with other believers, which some people have gotten into the habit of doing." or "You need other believers to help you mature in your walk with Christ." The reality is that more seasoned believers are leaving churches due to bad leadership, or because they're tired of the secular nature of many churches. It says a lot about believers who choose to sit under bad leadership. Truth be told, it's no one's business why a believer chooses to leave their church. As long as they continue feeding themselves spiritually and tithing to ministries that further the Gospel, they're still one with God. To really keep it real, some believers are lazy in that the only time they pray and read the Word is Sunday & Wednesday.
