Where's Men's Accolades

Why do women get credit for progressing in life whereas men are expected to be stable? That doesn't make sense. I get it, some women have fought hard for their success and should be commended, but if you're healthy and have the right drive, you should be able to make moves for yourself. A man is expected to have a career & home by a certain age; no one gives him credit because that's what he's supposed to; A single mother raising children on her own gets her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees is given red-carpet treatment. There are other single moms doing the same, but they don't look for credit because they're doing what they do for a better life for their children. Their gift is their child(ren) excelling in life. My point is this: If men don't get props for bettering themselves, neither should women.
